Silver Fox Studio for the Alexander Technique was created by Annette Schmidt for her teaching practice. The silver fox represents ease of movement and freedom to accomplish whatever you wish to do. SERVICE WITH SPIRIT is the Silver Fox goal.

Annette Schmidt is an Alexander Technique Teacher trained in the tradition established by F.M. Alexander. Annette is certified by the American Society for the Alexander Technique (AmSAT). AmSAT establishes and maintains the nation's highest standards for teacher training, certification, and membership. AmSAT certified teachers adhere to professional standards and must complete a three year, AmSAT approved training course including 1,600 hours of training.

Annette has a twenty-year professional background as an educator, businesswoman, and entrepreneur. She has a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential and a BA in Psychology from the University of California at Davis, and has completed graduate coursework at the University of Denver Publishing Institute. Annette is a wife, mother, and amateur piano player who loves to study and practice the Alexander Technique herself. She also loves to help her students learn the Alexander Technique and, in so doing, improve their own lives.
